My passion for clicker training and my vision to make it accessible to pet owners worldwide led to the development of the CLICINO Clicker Ring. With over 20 years of experience in dog training and behavior consulting, I have helped countless dog owners work successfully with the clicker.
But I kept coming up against a challenge: handling conventional clickers was difficult and awkward for many of my customers. The clicker often blocked one hand, or it was not ready to hand quickly enough. This led to imprecise signals and frustrating training results. The idea of developing a hands-free clicker was born. The CLICINO Clicker Ring offers an innovative solution that makes training more intuitive and efficient for pet owners.
The idea of a ring-shaped clicker was not new and originally came from the USA. An American had a similar idea back in 2015, but failed to implement it. On January 1, 2019, I decided to take up the idea and start my own project.
For me, 2019 was characterized by intensive research and development. I had to deal with topics that were completely new to me - from product development and manufacturing processes to marketing and sales. It was a big step, as I had originally started out as a dog trainer. Despite the uncertainty and financial risks, I was determined to realize my vision.
At the end of 2019, the time had come: after numerous prototypes and tests, from 3D printing to injection molding, I held the first functional CLICINO Clicker Ring in my hands and the sales launch could begin. The positive feedback from my customers confirmed the success of the product. The CLICINO Clicker Ring quickly became well-known and received enthusiastic reviews from professionals and pet owners.
Thanks to its innovative design and ease of use, the CLICINO Clicker Ring quickly became a game changer in the field of clicker training. Today it is used in 23 countries worldwide and is used in the training of dogs, cats, horses and even wild animals in zoos. The CLICINO Clicker Ring improves the interaction between humans and animals and enriches the training experience for both sides.
